Making Better Choices

KFC is aware of the increasing awareness on the importance of having more greens in consumers' meals to balance their diet. Thus, KFC has decided to take a step further to provide customers with a balanced variety by having a salad option on our menu.

A tasty and better option is now available for KFC diners in Singapore with the launch of KFC's Oriental Chicken Salad, a salad that boasts a nutritious combination of fresh vegetables and KFC's Spicy Chicken fillet pieces. 

The Oriental Chicken Salad is made up of delicious fresh vegetables namely, Iceberg Lettuce, Red Cabbage, Tomatoes and sweet Corn Kernels, topped with Crispy Noodle and Spicy Chicken fillet pieces and served with Oriental dressing made from soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and chopped cucumber.

KFC also offers a range of non-carbonated drinks namely Lemonade, Ice Milo, Hot Tea and Mineral Water as a replacement for our usual soft drinks. These drinks serve as a source of Vitamin C, energy booster and detoxifying agents respectively to better complement the meals.
  • 5 to 9 helpings of fruit and greens a day helps keep the sickness blues away.
  • Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water to ensure overall well-being of the human body.
  • Choose lighter salad dressing.
  • Request for salad dressing to be placed on the side rather than drowning your greens in it.
  • When choosing desserts, go for lighter options such as Cheng T’ng, rather than ice cream base.
  • Always opt for those with fresh vegetables and fruit in a meal.
  • Opt for non-carbonated drinks.
  • Avoid going on Low Carb Diet. Low carbohydrates menus tend to rob your body of too much energy and make it almost impossible to remain on the diet program meal for too long.
  • Starving yourself should never be an option.
  • Select your food intake based on your overall eating patterns, not whether the individual food is good or bad. Create a balance and variety to achieving a healthy diet.

Eating right from an early age and maintaining it though goodnutritional practices throughout life will build up one's body resistance and immune system.
